HYC Mission
Our aim is to promote
boating, seamanship, friendship, sportsmanship, boating education, environmental
conservation, and related recreational activities for maximum enjoyment and modest
expense.
We are a not-for-profit "self-help" organization. Membership in our Club is open
to all, and there is no waiting list. Essential to the accomplishment of our Mission, we
provide opportunities for:

berthing of boats owned by residents of the City of Stamford

Yacht racing, fishing derbies,
cruises, and other on-the-water activities

Educational forums on boat-related
subjects such as engine maintenance, seamanship, and safety

We provide an informal, casual
organization where like-minded individuals can come together to enjoy water sports
and appreciate the fellowship of one another, while having a safe, rewarding and
educational boating experience.
