Why We Exist

The Halloween Yacht Club Mission

Our aim is to promote boating, seamanship, friendship, sportsmanship, boating education, environmental conservation, and related recreational activities for maximum enjoyment and modest expense.

 We are a not-for-profit "self-help" organization. Membership in our Club is open to all, and there is no waiting list. Essential to the accomplishment of our Mission, we provide opportunities for:

Low-cost berthing of boats owned by residents of the City of Stamford

Yacht racing, fishing derbies, cruises, and other on-the-water activities

bullet

Educational forums on boat-related subjects such as engine maintenance, seamanship, and safety

bullet

Social programs for members, families, and guests

bullet

We provide an informal, casual organization where like-minded individuals can come together to enjoy  watersports and appreciate the fellowship of one another, while having a safe, rewarding and educational boating experience.
