The Halloween Yacht Club, in conjunction with Breakwater Irregulars and the City of Stamford, will host the 40th Annual Mayors Cup Race on Sunday, June 19th 2026.

Even before its founding in 1641, the City of Stamford has been a sea-faring town. It was a major port of entry for merchandise shipped here from the United Kingdom, Netherlands, and elsewhere in Europe; it was a dispatch point for agricultural and manufactured products being distributed by sea to New York City, other colonies [...]

For several years there have been two weekly sailing events held in Stamford: the Breakwater Irregulars’ Tuesday night Races, mainly for spinnaker boats, and the HYC Thursday night Twilight Races for non-spinnakers.

Winter is approaching. It’s that time of the year to start winding things down and getting the clubhouse ready for it’s winterization; as well as our members boats.

Winter storage ends on 03/31/26. Please make sure you remove you boat to its summer location. 

Please be aware that there will no no water on the docks the week of 4/1/26 though 4/8/26. Water will be turned off to fix a few pipes on the dock.

HYC will be hosting it’s annual summer Dock and Dine event this June 29th 2019.  Festivities start at 7PM. Open bar, good music and dancing. For more info, or to sign up and discuss what you can bring, call Tony Loglisci at 203-940-1358.

The Halloween Yacht Club is a true community yacht club. Anyone may join, taking advantage of the Club’s year-round social, educational, and recreational programs.
